Their vision for the website is one that is rich with editorial and local opinion. They aim to create a site that provides a valuable service to Wilmslow and by sharing local knowledge, can make a positive contribution to strengthening the sense of community.
Since launching, the website has had many thousands of visits and a significant portion of the local population are really engaging with the site. The response has been overwhelmingly positive with local businesses, schools, churches, sports clubs and associations all becoming involved.
At the heart of the web site is a publishing platform that allows members to get involved, interact, and contribute content to the site. You can participate by writing an article, posting a comment in the forum, suggesting a listing for our event calendar, or sharing your experiences.
Wilmslow.co.uk is published by Focus Digital Limited and run by Lisa (with a lot of help from her technical husband Martin). The website enables them to combine their passion for the area they live in, with their professional knowledge and experience of the internet.
